Cash Journals

Understand the role and importance of cash journals. Recognise that cash transactions that involve inflows of cash require an entry in the cash receipts journal and cash transactions that involve outflows of cash requires an entry in the cash payments journal. If the transaction involves cash then an entry must be made into one of the two cash journals.
