In this tutorial we explain the role of credit journals and how credit transactions are recorded. Credit sales journals are used to record the sale of inventory of credit. Credit purchases journals are used to record the purchase of inventory on credit. Control accounts are introduced along with the use of subsidiary ledgers and how they benefit business entities
